Escape 4WD V6-3.0L (2008)
3. Position the oil pan and loosely install the bolts and stud bolts.
4. Install the 2 oil pan-to-transaxle bolts.

Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
5. Tighten the oil pan-to-engine bolts and stud bolts in the sequence shown to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
6. NOTE: Lubricate the engine oil filter gasket with clean engine oil prior to installing.
Install a new oil filter.

Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) and then rotate an additional 180 degrees.
7. Install the exhaust Y-pipe.
8. Fill the engine with clean engine oil.
