Removal and Installation
Remove
1. Raise the rear seat cushion.

2. Detach the lower anchor (one Torx bolt).

3. Detach the top anchor.
1. Pull off the cover.
2. Remove the Torx bolt.
Catch - Rear Seat Backrest - Remove (40 534 0)
4. Remove the rear seat backrest catch (two Torx bolts).
5. Remove the C‐pillar trim (refer to Operation Number 43 173 0).

6. Remove the rear seat backrest catch support bracket (three bolts).

7. Remove the inertia reel assembly (one bolt).
Install

8. Refit the components in reverse order.
Catch - Rear Seat Backrest - Install (40 534 0)

Pretensioner - Stalk - Seat - Deploy (40 234 0) > < Stalk - Front Seat (Mechanical Pretensioner) - Remove And Install (40 232 0)
