Floor Covering - Front And Rear (4 And 5 Door Variants) - Remove And Install (43 832 0)

Removal and Installation

Remove

CAUTION:

Disconnect the battery negative lead.

1. Remove the right and left‐hand front seats (refer to Operation Number 40 100 0).

2. Remove the rear seat cushion (refer to Operation Number 40 122 0).

3. Remove the centre console (refer to Operation Number 43 814 0).

4. Detach the right and left‐hand lower seat belt anchors (one bolt).

Panel - Cowl Side Trim - Remove (43 735 0)

5. Remove the left and right‐hand cowl side trim panels (one screw and three clips each side).

6. Locally detach the front and rear door aperture weatherstrips.

7. Remove the right and left‐hand scuff plate trims (six screws).

8. Detach the seat belt webbing from the scuff plate trim and remove the panel.

9. Detach the floor covering retainers from the right and left‐hand front footwells.

10. Remove the floor vent (four clips).

11. Carefully cut the floor covering, (not the underlay) forward of the crash padding‐ facia support brace in a straight line.

12. Remove the floor covering.

Install

CAUTION:

Ensure all wiring looms are routed away from trim screws and clips.

13. Refit the components in reverse order.
