ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Toothed Ring
Front
1. Remove front wheel driveshaft.
2. Use chisel to tap sensor indicator off front wheel driveshaft/joint.
3. Clamp driveshaft in vise equipped with protective cups to prevent damage to parts, then press new indicator ring on with Sensor Ring Replacer
T93P-20202-A or equivalent.
4. Reinstall front wheel driveshaft.
Rear
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Remove wheel hub.
3. Using chisel, remove sensor indicator rotor. Discard sensor old indicator rotor.
4. Using steel plate wider than outside diameter of sensor indicator rotor, press sensor indicator rotor until flush with wheel hub.
5. >Install wheel hub, then the wheel and tire assembly.
