Wheel Bearing: Adjustments
Rear

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove rear wheel.
2. Remove brake caliper and rotor.
3. Position a dial indicator to wheel hub.
4. Push and pull wheel hub by hand and measure wheel bearing play.
5. If wheel bearing play exceeds 0.002 inch, check and adjust locknut torque or replace wheel bearing if necessary.
