Lubricate all new seals with brake fluid before installation.
1.
Install needle bearings, dust boot and parking brake lever, Fig. 33.
2.
Install adapter spindle in caliper.
3.
Install dust boot into caliper bore, then install retaining spring.
4.
Install caliper piston.
5.
Install upper and lower guide pin dust boots.
6.
Install anchor plate clips, brake pads, shims and spring retainer.
7.
Install caliper on anchor plate, then tighten upper guide pin and install dust cap.
8.
Install lower guide pin and torque to specification.
9.
Perform system brake bleeding procedures, them pump brake pedal several times to seat brake pads.
10.
Check brake fluid level, adding fluid as necessary, then install wheel and tire assembly.
Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1.
Remove wheel and tire assembly, then brake pads as previously outlined.
2.
Remove brake flex hose retaining clip from strut assembly bracket.
