Disassembly
Fork Assembly Disassembly
1. Remove shift fork assembly from main shaft. Position shift fork assembly as shown in image. Disassemble 1st-2nd shift fork and interlock sleeve,
then the 3rd-4th shift fork and interlock sleeve from shaft.
Input Gear Shaft Bearing Removal
2. Remove input gear shaft front, rear and main bearings by pressing off shaft using bearing puller attachment tool no. D84L-1123-A or equivalent.
3. Remove 3rd-4th gears and clutch hub from main shaft by pressing shaft out. Install bearing puller attachment tool No. D84L-1123-A or equivalent,
onto 3rd gear, positioning lips of tool between two sets of teeth on 3rd gear. Install shaft protector tool No. D80L-625-3 or equivalent to the end of
the main shaft.
