10. Remove screw from front A-pillar switch retaining bracket to A-pillar.
11. Remove two screws retaining front A-pillar switch bracket to track assembly.
12. Gently slide shoulder belt retainer forward off track.
NOTE: Drive belt should slide out of track with shoulder belt retainer.
13. Remove shoulder belt retainer from drive belt.
Installation
1. Insert drive belt at front of track to A-pillar. Prior to drive belt installation, lubricate track using Emralon 329 (meets Ford specification
ESB-M99C71-A) or equivalent (drive belt and guide track).
Emralon 329 can be purchased through:
Adheson Collids Co. 1600 Washington Ave. Port Huron, MI. 48060.
2. Install retainer into large slot at front end of tape.
3. Slide drive belt in track rearward until end is located approximately 12.7 mm (1/2-inch) in the upper track slot.
