2. NOTE: When installing the rear brake shoes and linings, it is necessary to lubricate the parking brake lever contact points using Silicone Caliper
Grease and Dielectric Compound D7AZ-19A331 -A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESE-MIC171-A.
Position the rear brake shoes and linings; install the brake shoe hold-down springs.
3. Install the (A) brake shoe retracting spring and the (B) anti-rattle spring.
4. Install the retracting spring.
5. Measure the inside diameter of the brake drum with Brake Adjustment Gauge.
