1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:

Make sure the front safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.

Ensure that the front passenger safety belt retractor is not stuck in the ALR mode after installation.

Apply Ford Threadlock 262 (E2FZ-19554-B) or equivalent to fasteners when installing safety belt buckle or retractor assemblies.

Perform the Functional Test to ensure that the new retractor operates correctly. See: Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General
