Remove the four (4) push pins (2 each side) from the shift console panel. See Figure 1.

Gently pull the forward edge of the shift console panel out to gain access to and remove the push pins securing the left and right side control box
side covers. See Figure 2.

Disconnect the two (2) air bag diagnostic monitor electrical connectors.

5.

Loosen the two (2) monitor retaining nuts on the left side of the monitor. Remove the one (1) retaining nut from the right side then remove the
monitor from the vehicle.
