Windshield: Description and Operation
The windshield glass is constructed of plastic laminate sandwiched between two sheets of glass.
Urethane sealant bonds the windshield glass to the window opening flange.
The front door window glass, the rear door window glass, the quarter window glass and the back window glass are made of tempered safety glass.
The front door window glass and the rear door window glass are raised and lowered by a manual (or electric, if equipped) window regulator. The door
window glass is retained in the door by the window regulator, window run channel and the rear door glass run retainer and division bar (rear door only).
