Apply Silicone Brake Caliper Grease And Dielectric Compound (D7AZ-19A331-A or equivalent meeting Ford Specification
ESE-M1C171-A) to the back of the inner brake pad (Figures 7 and 8). The amount of grease applied should cover the entire shim/inner pad
interface but should not bleed out excessively when the shims are pressed to the back of the inner pad. The grease is only to be applied
between the back of the inner pad and inner shim (has holes).

g.

Reassemble caliper and inner pad/shims to vehicle.

h.

Re-measure the gap between the inner pad and steering knuckle. This gap should not be less than 0.4 mm (O.O16").

Retest vehicle.
