Camshaft: Service and Repair

Removal 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. 
2. Remove the engine air cleaner.

3. Remove the three bolts, valve cover and gasket.
4. Remove the camshaft front seal.

5. Remove the ignition coil.

1. Disconnect the (A) radio interference capacitor and the (B) ignition coil electrical connectors.
2. Remove the bolts.
3. Place the ignition coil aside.

6. Remove the bolts and the ignition coil bracket.
7. Remove the eight valve tappets.
