6. Slide the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft off the windshield wiper motor.
7. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor electrical connector.
8. Remove the windshield wiper motor bolts and the windshield wiper motor.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

If necessary, adjust the windshield wiper pivot arms and wiper blades.
NOTE:

When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy.
The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
