Some early production vehicles may exhibit high key and unlatching efforts. This concern is caused by the lock power actuator pulling the lock rod and
bellcrank into an over center locking mode. To service, replace the existing power door lock actuator systems in both front doors. The new system
eliminates the bellcrank and short latch rod and replaces them with a new actuator with a longer rod connecting direct to the latch attachment for more
positive operations.
