Check to make sure that the water seal is completely around the outside of the mating connector (see Figure 12).
2.
If the water seal is folded under in anyway, replace the connector.
NOTE:
When the water seal is folded under it takes on a permanent set and proper sealing is not achieved by repositioning the old connector.
If both of the above connectors check out o.k., perform "No Start" diagnostic procedures.
