WHEEL BOLTS - NEW, SHORTER FRONT WHEEL BOLTS RELEASED
FORD 1983-85 ESCORT, EXP; 1984-85 TEMPO
LINCOLN-MERCURY 1983-85 LYNX; 1984-85 TOPAZ
A new shorter front wheel bolt (E6DZ-1107-A) has been released as a running change along with the introduction of the new
thinner front wheel hub (E3FZ- 1104-A). This new wheel bolt will replace the old longer E3FZ-1107-A bolt.

The currently released (E3FZ-1107-A) wheel bolts must be used on past model hubs only. The new shorter (E3FZ-1104-A)
wheel bolts will be used on the (E3FZ- 1107-A) hubs and on all past model (E3FZ-1104-A) hubs. See Figure 2 for bolt
comparison.
NOTE: Use service stock on (E3FZ-1107-AA) bolts on models as released. When this stock is exhausted, use the new bolts.
