If the vehicle is equipped with MTXII 4-speed transaxle, inspect the paddle that operates the upshift light top gear switch. Bend the paddle so the
switch is depressed only 4 mm (.16") when the transmission is in 4th gear. Be sure to confirm switch function upon completion of repair. Figure 26
