Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Disconnect the power brake booster hose.

Compress the clamp.

Disconnect the power brake booster hose.
2. Remove the battery tray.
3. Remove the brake master cylinder.
4. Note: Coupe shown; Sedan similar.
Remove the nut on the back side of the hood latch release handle and position it aside.
5. Remove the screw and the instrument panel steering column cover.
