Spring Lock Coupling Connect and Disconnect Procedure
Spring Lock Coupling Disconnect Tool Set
SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL(S)
DISCONNECT
1. Perform the Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure.
2. Remove the A/C tube lock coupling clip.
3. Using the special tool,disengage the spring lock coupling fittings.
4. Remove the O-ring seals with a non-metallic tool.
CAUTION: Do not use metal tools to remove the O-ring seals. They can cause axial scratches across the O-ring seal grooves resulting in
refrigerant leaks.
