Headlamp Relay: Testing and Inspection
Head Relay Terminal Location
Check Relay Continuity
1. Measure the resistance between relay terminal COM and all other terminals. If any resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace the HEAD re]ay.
Otherwise, continue with the test.
2. Use a jumper wire to apply ground to terminal COIL. Use another jumper wire to apply voltage to terminals Coil and NO. Measure the voltage at
terminal COM. If voltage is less than 10 volts, replace the HEAD relay. Otherwise, return to the pinpoint tests. See: Testing and
