Inertia Fuel Shutoff Switch: Service and Repair
Reseting the Inertia Fuel Shutoff Switch (Ifs) Switch
CAUTION: Do not reset the Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) switch until the fuel system has been inspected for leaks.
In the event of a collision, the electrical contacts in the IFS switch will open and the FDM shuts off. To reset the IFS switch, depress the button on top of
the IFS switch.
