12. Note: Install new Teflon seals 388898-S on the power steering pressure hose fittings before connecting the hose.
Note: Make sure that the threads are clean and free of debris before connecting the hose.
Connect the power steering return hose to the steering gear.
13. Install the crossmember and bolts.
14. Lower the vehicle.
15. Note: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive
strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
Connect the battery ground cable.
16. Fill the power steering system.
