10. Remove the evaporator core.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Install new 0-ring seals lubricated in clean PAG oil.

Lubricate the refrigerant system with the correct amount of clean PAG oil.
2. Evacuate, leak test and charge the A/C system.
Evaporator Core - With Auxiliary Climate Control
REMOVAL
NOTE:

If an evaporator core leak is suspected, the evaporator core must be leak-tested before it is removed from the vehicle.

Installation of a new suction accumulator is not required when repairing the air conditioning system, except when there is physical evidence of
system contamination from a failed A/C compressor or damage to the suction accumulator.
All vehicles
1. Remove the suction accumulator.
2. Disconnect the condenser to evaporator line spring lock coupling.
^
Discard the O-ring seals.
Vehicles with gas engine
3. Remove the vapor management valve and bracket assembly.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Disconnect the vacuum line.
3
Release the clamp and disconnect the vapor line.
4
Remove the nuts and the vapor management valve and bracket assembly.
