5. Remove the pinch bolt.

Turn the steering wheel as necessary to access the bolt.

-

Make sure the steering column is locked.

6. CAUTION:  During installation, do not overtighten the fittings.

Disconnect the lines.

7. Raise the vehicle. 

8. Remove the cotter pin and nut.

-

Discard the cotter pin.

9. Using the special tool, disconnect the drag link.
