Release the clip.

Remove the exterior rear door handle.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: If a new component is to be installed, refer to the Ford Master Parts Catalog for specific part information. The clip must be completely
down in the latch lever before connecting the release rod.
