then remove the knob. (Figures 1 and 2)

For vehicles without fog lamps, position the headlamp knob in the On position.

CAUTION

TO AVOID POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO THE HEADLAMP SWITCH BEZEL, USE A PIECE OF CARDBOARD, OR SIMILAR MATERIAL,
PLACED BETWEEN THE BEZEL AND TOOL.

Insert a pocket screwdriver, or similar tool, directly beneath the knob handle, between the knob face and the assembly fascia. Gently and steadily
leverage the screwdriver so that the stem tab will unlatch from the knob retaining window.

7.

Position the replacement knob on the switch assembly and push in until a click is heard and/or felt.

8.

Lightly pull the knob to make sure it is securely locked in position.
