Inspect Pin 11 of headlamp switch electrical connector. See Figure 3.

If the Tan/White wire is located in Pin 11, the headlamp Switch assembly must be replaced. Proceed to "Service Procedure -- Dealer Stock
After Pre-Delivery Inspection or Customer Delivered Vehicles."

If the White/Red wire is located in Pin 11, no service action is require Reassemble the vehicle and return to dealer stock or to the customer.
SERVICE PROCEDURE-DEALER STOCK BEFORE PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION
1.
Install the memory saver, then disconnect the battery negative cable.
2.
Remove and disconnect the headlamp switch assembly. See Figure 4. Discard the original headlamp switch assembly.
3.
Modify the wiring of the headlamp switch electrical connector as follows:
