Insert a pocket screwdriver, or similar tool, in through the opening on the bottom of the headlamp switch knob and depress the release tab inside,
then remove the knob. See Figures 1 and 2.

Position the new knob on the switch and push in until a click is heard and/or felt. Lightly pull on the knob to make sure it is securely locked in
position.
