2000 MODEL YEAR F-150 AND EXCURSION
INSPECTION - DEALER STOCK BEFORE PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION
1.
Check the "Customer Acceptance" sticker, located on the left hand side of the windshield, for a green dot. See Figure 1.

If the green dot is present, no service action is required. Return the vehicle to dealer stock.

If the green dot is not present, the headlamp switch assembly must be replaced. Proceed to the "Service Procedure -- Dealer Stock Before
Pre-Delivery Inspection."
INSPECTION-DEALER STOCK AFTER PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION OR CUSTOMER DELIVERED VEHICLES
1.
Install the memory saver, then disconnect the battery negative cable.
2.
Remove and disconnect the headlamp switch assembly. See Figure 2.
