Excursion 2WD V8-5.4L SOHC VIN L (2000)
4. Disconnect and position the tie rod end out of the way.

Use the Steering Arm Remover.
5. Remove the cotter pin and castellated nut. Discard the cotter pin.
6. Disconnect the steering sector shaft arm drag link.

Use the Steering Arm Remover.
7. Remove the steering sector shaft arm drag link.

Note the number of turns required to remove the steering sector shaft arm drag link.
