Attach a DVOM, Rotunda No. 014-00407, or equivalent, on 20 V scale. Connect ( + ) to pin 47 and (-) to pin 46 (Figure 4).

Turn ignition key to "RUN" position (do not start engine).
5.
Adjust TP Sensor (rotate) until the DVOM reads 1.0 V (0.9-1.1).
6.
Tighten TP Sensor screws to 1.2-1.8 N-m (11-16 in.lb.).

While watching the DVOM, move the throttle to wide open and back to idle position. For proper operation, the DVOM should move from 1.0 to
at least 4.0 and back to 1.0 V.
8.
Perform EEC IV Quick Test (Section 16, Emission Diagnosis Manual).
9.
Verify satisfactory engine operation by drive evaluation.
10.
Remove Breakout Box.
