CALIBRATIONS: All non-E.F.I.
The above symptoms may be caused by insufficient spark advance due to a leaking distributor vacuum advance diaphragm (-12370-).
1.
With the engine off, disconnect the vacuum hose to the diaphragm assembly (-12370-).
2.
Connect a vacuum tester (Rotunda Model 021-00014 or equivalent) and apply a minimum of 20" hg of vacuum to the diaphragm assembly.

a.
If the diaphragm assembly doesn't hold vacuum, replace it with the same part number diaphragm assembly from service stock.
b.
If the diaphragm assembly does hold vacuum, perform the related diagnostic routines as specified in the Car Shop Manual,
Emissions/Diagnosis Book to resolve the concerns.
