Fuel Gauge: Component Tests and General Diagnostics
Preliminary Setup
1. Disconnect the fuel level sensor and pump C415. Connect one lead of the tester to fuel level sensor and pump C415-8, circuit 29 (Y/W), and the
other lead to ground.
2. Set the tester to 22.4 ohms. Key ON. Wait one minute. The fuel gauge should indicate E (empty). Key OFF.
3. Set the tester to 145 ohms. Key ON. Wait one minute. The fuel gauge should indicate F (full). Key OFF. Return to the pinpoint test. See:
