6. Use Pitman Arm Puller to separate the steering sector shaft arm drag link.
7. Remove the (A) dust shield from the (B) valve housing.
8. Remove the intermediate shaft pinch bolt.
9. Slide the intermediate shaft off the steering gear input shaft.
