Expedition 2WD V8-281 4.6L VIN W EFI (1997)
6. Remove the upper ball joint castellated nut.
(1) Remove the cotter pin.
(2) Remove the nut.
7. Use Pitman Arm Puller to separate the ball joint from the front wheel spindle.
8. Remove the upper shock absorber nut and washer.
9. Remove the front shock absorber.
(1) Remove the two shock absorber lower nuts.
(2) Remove the front shock absorber.
