Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
WARNING:
The electrical power to the air suspension system must be shut off prior to hoisting, jacking or towing an air suspension vehicle. This may be
accomplished by turning off the air suspension switch located in the RH kick panel area. Failure to do so may result in unexpected inflation or deflation
of the air spring which may result in shifting of the vehicle during these operations.
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the evaporative emissions canister purge solenoid electrical connector.
3. Loosen the clamp and remove the fuel vapor tube.
4. Remove the two evaporative emissions canister nuts and remove canister and bracket assembly.
