Expedition 2WD V8-5.4L SOHC VIN L (1997)
13. Remove the rear axle to trackbar assembly bolt.
14. Remove the rear suspension lower arm assembly to the axle bolt.

Repeat for other side.
15. Remove the rear suspension upper arm assembly to the rear axle bolt.
^
Repeat for other side.
16. Lower the rear axle and remove the coil spring.
(1) Lower the rear axle.
(2) Remove spring.
Installation
NOTE: Do not tighten any nuts or bolts until the rear suspension is raised so that the rear suspension lower arms are parallel to the ground. Once in
position, tighten all the nuts and bolts to specification.
