Tighten first five (5) engine front cover bolts in sequence shown in Figure 63, to 20-30 Nm (15-22 lb-ft).

Tighten remaining ten (10) engine front cover bolts in sequence shown in Figure 64. On Romeo engines, tighten bolts to 20-30 Nm (15-22
lb-ft). On 4.6L and 5.4L Windsor engines, tighten bolts to 40-55 Nm (29-40 lb-ft).

Install right side idler pulley. Tighten retainer to 20-30 Nm (15-22 lb-ft).

Using clean engine oil, lubricate engine front cover oil seal inner lip.
44.
Using Crankshaft Seal Replacer/Aligner T88T-6701-A, install front cover oil seal.

Install crankshaft pulley as follows:
