Differential Case: Testing and Inspection

Front Differential Case Runout Check
1. Remove the front axle assembly.
2. Remove the axle housing cover.

Remove the drain plug.

Drain the differential lubricant.
3
Remove the bolts.
4
Remove the axle housing cover.
3. CAUTION: Fixture mounting bolts must have a minimum thread engagement in the carrier. Install the Bench Mounted Holding Fixture.
