Climate Control Head
REMOVAL
WARNING: TO AVOID ACCIDENTAL DEPLOYMENT AND POSSIBLE INJURY, THE AIR BAG BACKUP POWER SUPPLY
MUST BE DEPLETED BEFORE SERVICING OR REPLACING ANY AIR BAG SYSTEM COMPONENTS. TO DEPLETE THE
BACKUP POWER SUPPLY ENERGY, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY TO STARTER RELAY CABLE AND WAIT ONE MINUTE.
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel relay cover.
3. Disconnect the two passenger air bag defeat switch electrical connectors.
