Expedition 4WD V8-4.6L SOHC VIN 6 (1997)
5. Disconnect the heater outlet tube from the outlet hose.

Use Heater Hose Disconnect Tool to disconnect the hose.
6. Disconnect the front auxiliary heater outlet tube from the rear auxiliary heater outlet tube.
1. Remove the nut.
2. Disconnect the line.
7. Cut the heater outlet tube in the positions shown.
8. Remove and discard the cut sections.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the heater outlet tube.

In stall the end with blue tape over the frame.
