6. Remove the steering gear sector shaft.

7. Remove the locking nut from the steering gear sector shaft adjustment screw.

8. Hold the (A) steering gear sector shaft and rotate the (B) steering gear sector shaft housing cover counterclockwise and remove the steering gear

sector shaft housing cover.

9. Remove the valve housing bolts and the identification tag.

10. Remove the valve housing and piston assembly.
