EGR Electronic Vacuum Regulator Solenoid: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid.

Disconnect the vacuum hose.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

3

Remove the nuts.

4

Remove the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid.

NOTE:  The 4.6L engine is shown; the 5.4L engine is similar.

INSTALLATION

4.6L engine is shown; 5.4L engine is similar

1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
