AFFECTED VEHICLES:
1999 EXPEDITION AND NAVIGATOR
INSPECTION
1.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2.
Locate the build label on the front fuel supply line. The label is located just forward of the fuel filter. Refer to Figure 1.

If the build label is missing, replace the fuel lines. Lower the vehicle and proceed to the "Service Procedure".
3.
Using a shop towel, clean the label as necessary.
4.
Check the month and day codes of the build label. See Figure 1.

If the fuel line build label has a build date code of August 21 ( H 21) or earlier, replace the fuel lines. Lower the vehicle and proceed to the
"Service Procedure".
