Expedition 4WD V8-4.6L SOHC VIN W (1999)
5. Engage the differential pinion gears opposite the differential side gears.
6. Rotate the differential pinion gears to align with the differential pinion shaft bore.
7. Insert the differential pinion shaft.
8. NOTE: If a new pinion shaft bolt is unavailable, coat the threads with Threadlock and Sealer EOAZ-19554-AA or equivalent meeting Ford
specifications WSK-M2G3 15-A5 and ESE-M4G204-A2 prior to installation.
Install a new differential pinion shaft bolt.
