Special Tool(s)
Removal and Installation
1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.
2. Position the watershield aside.
3. Release the actuating rod.
4. Remove the liftgate actuator.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the rivet.
3
Remove the liftgate actuator.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Use the Heavy Duty Riveter to install the new rivet.
