6. Remove the bolt, flag nut and the wheel knuckle.

Discard the flag nut.
7. If necessary, using a suitable press and adapters, remove the upper ball joint.
8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Check and, if necessary, adjust the rear alignment.
