Install the parking brake shoe adjuster.
7. Using the special tool, measure the inside diameter of the drum portion of the rear brake disc.

Record the measurement.
8. NOTE: Make sure that the parking brake shoes are correctly centered. Take the measurement at the widest point across the center of the parking
brake shoes.
Using the special tool, measure the parking brake shoe diameter.

Rotate the adjuster to set the parking brake shoe diameter to 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) less than the recorded inside diameter of the drum portion of
the rear brake disc.
9. Install the brake disc.
10. NOTE: This step will require the aid of an assistant.
Enable the parking brake cable system.

Pull down on the front parking brake cable at the coupler.
^
Remove the retaining pin from the parking brake lever.
11. Check the operation of the parking brake.
